Journal-club weeks (2–7, 9–12) open with a 5-minute reading quiz; after the lecture we hold a 30-minute discussion as one team — the whole class, from Week 6 (Weeks 2–5 ran in groups of 3–4) — with three randomly drawn roles each week (leader, presenter, questioner) — revealed at 13:00 on class day, so everyone prepares. (Week 2: the instructor co-moderates to model the format.) Write and submit your entrance ticket right on this page (sign in below; due Sunday 13:00). Submitted tickets appear right here: until 13:00 on class day only the instructor and TA can read them; from 13:00 every ticket is visible to the whole class — they are the raw material of the discussion. You can withdraw and resubmit until it is graded. 저널클럽 주간(2–7, 9–12주차)은 5분 리딩 퀴즈로 시작하고, 강의 후에는 30분 동안 한 팀으로 토론해요 (6주차부터 수강생 전원이 한 팀 · 2–5주차는 3–4명 그룹). 매주 세 역할(리더·발표자·질문자)이 랜덤 추첨되어 수업 당일 13:00에 공개돼요 — 누구든 뽑힐 수 있으니 모두가 준비해야 해요. (2주차는 교수가 함께 진행하며 포맷을 시범 보여요.) entrance ticket은 바로 이 페이지에서 작성하고 제출해요 (아래에서 로그인 · 마감 일요일 13:00). 제출한 티켓은 바로 이 페이지에 올라와요 — 수업 당일 13:00 전까지는 교수·조교만 읽을 수 있고, 13:00부터는 전체에게 공개되어 토론의 재료가 돼요. 채점 전까지는 삭제·재제출이 가능해요.

◆ Presenter발표자

  • Takes notes and synthesizes the team's answers, question by question.팀의 논의를 받아 적고 질문별로 답을 정리해요.
  • Presents the summary to the whole class in the closing minutes (~2–3 min).마지막 전체 공유 시간에 정리한 내용을 발표해요 (~2–3분).
  • Quotes the sharpest points from the team's tickets.팀 티켓에서 가장 날카로웠던 포인트를 인용해요.

? Questioner질문자

  • Listens to the presenter's synthesis and puts a real question to the team — the room's skeptic.발표자의 정리를 듣고 팀 전체에 진짜 질문을 던져요 — 토론의 회의론자 역할이에요.
  • Ask about something that would change the conclusion: an assumption, a missing control, a leak.결론을 바꿀 수 있는 지점을 물어요: 가정, 빠진 대조군, 누수 같은 것.
  • One sharp question beats three vague ones — prepare it while you listen.막연한 질문 셋보다 날카로운 질문 하나 — 들으면서 준비해요.

Three roles each week, drawn at random (fairness-weighted, so everyone serves each role several times a semester) and counted toward the discussion-leadership 9%.매주 세 역할을 랜덤 추첨해요 (공정 가중 — 학기 동안 모두가 각 역할을 여러 번 맡아요). 뽑힌 날의 수행이 토론 리더십 9% 평가에 반영돼요.
